Monika Lee, who worked for Kensington & Chelsea council in the aftermath of Grenfell, joins 55,000-home association
Home Group has announced the appointment of Monika Lee as its first ever director of building safety.
The 55,000-home association hired Lee, who was previously director of assets and safety at Southern Housing. She was responsible for all planned programmes of works, statutory compliance and building safety. She started her new role at Home Group last month.
Lee also worked for Kensington & Chelsea council between 2018 and 2020 and designed and implemented a range of services for the community and bereaved and survivors of Grenfell Tower.
Home Group also earlier this year appointed Hannah Howard-Jones as director of asset management. Howard-Jones was previously director of property for fund manager Gresham House which owns the for-profit providers ReSI Homes and ReSI Housing. She started her Home Group role in August.
