Newcastle City Council and Nottingham City Council found to have serious failings and told by regulator to improve

Two more councils have been handed a low ‘C3’ consumer grade by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

The grades, for Nottingham City Council and Newcastle City Council, mean the local authorities have serious failings and must improve.

RSH’s planned inspection of Nottingham City Council found a lack of accurate, up-to-date data of its stock quality and decency with almost 40% of its homes not surveyed for more than ten years.
