Student housing starts up 40% in regional cities, says Deloitte
Regional crane survey finds 8,200 student bedrooms under construction in 2023
The development of student accommodation in four of the UK’s regional cities is booming, according to a new report by Deloitte.
The number of student bedrooms under construction in Belfast, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester last year went up 40% compared with 2022.
Almost 8,200 student rooms are currently under construction across the regions, the firm’s Winter Crane Survey 2023 reveals.
