Stonewater increases development but surplus dips

Reduced shared ownership staircasing and increased costs squeeze 40,000-home provider’s operating surplus

Stonewater has increased its development by 16%.

The 40,000-home housing association, in a trading update said it completed 437 homes in the six months to 30 September, up from 378 in the same period last year.
