Watchdog says providers often fail to ‘triage’ cases effectively

The Housing Ombudsman has said social landlords need to overcome complacency towards dealing with hazards in residents’ homes, as the sector prepares for the introduction of Awaab’s Law.

The watchdog has today published its latest ‘learning from severe maladministration’ report which highlights hazards it has seen its casework which have not been adequately dealt with by social landlords.
