Anyone with a passing interest in housing will have noticed the issue of service charges has come to the boil recently.

Over the last few months, we’ve seen a succession of news stories about inflation-busting increases, vociferous campaigning and Sir George Howarth’s letter co-signed by 34 of his fellow MPs.
