Andy Peters to lead expansion into West Midlands for £220m turnover housebuilder
Wainhomes has announced the launch of a new region at the business covering the West Midlands and to be led by former Berkeley, Barratt and Persimmon executive Andy Peters.
The £220m turnover Warrington-based housebuilder said it wanted Peters (pictured) to drive “steady” growth at the new region, targeting 500 homes per annum by 2026.
Wainhomes currently operates in three regions – the North-west, the South-west and Severn Valley – and in 2019 completed the sale of nearly 1,000 homes.
Wainhomes will set up a headquarters for the West Midlands at Blythe Valley Innovation Centre in Solihull, and Peters said it would deliver its first completions in 2022.
The firm is looking to recruit into its land, planning and technical teams as it develops, he added.
Peters said he had signed up as managaing director of Wainhomes West Midlands because of the firm’s “unwavering focus on delivering the highest-quality new homes with customer experience and satisfaction at its heart”.
