Contractor formerly known as Galliford Try Partnerships lands £66m job
Vistry Partnerships has been signed up as the main contractor to develop the latest phase of the Aylesbury estate regeneration scheme in south London.
Housing association Notting Hill Genesis is revamping the estate in partnership with Southwark council as part of a 20-year project.
The newly-named Vistry Partnerships was part of the £1.1bn deal which completed last week and saw Bovis buy Galliford Try’s housebuilding and partnerships operations.
Collectively the new businesses have been renamed Vistry Group, following the acquisition.
The latest Aylesbury job, worth £66m, will eventually deliver 122 homes for rent as part of the south London estate’s overhaul.
In addition to the homes Vistry will build a new public library, health and early years’ facilities and commercial space on a site known as “Plot 18”.
Last summer Notting Hill Genesis appointed Essex housebuilder Hill to construct 229 homes as part of an initial development of a parcel of land known as “Package A”.
