Housebuilder appoints new southern region MD
Housebuilder Vistry has appointed one of its regional commercial directors as its new southern managing director.
The firm said that Dawnet McLaughlin (pictured, left), Vistry’s commercial director in its Guildford office, will replace James Dunne in the role when he steps down at the end of this month after less than six months in the job.
Vistry also said that Brendan Evans (pictured, below right), will be put in charge of its Kent region business as director, in another internal appointment. Evans was previously finance director of southern home counties at the firm.
Vistry was formed at the start of the year from the merger of housebuilder Bovis Homes with the housing businesses of Galliford Try – Linden and Galliford Try Partnerships.
Graham Prothero, chief operating officer at Vistry Group, said he was “delighted” to announce the appointments of Dawnet and Brendan, though he was sorry to see James Dunne depart. “That these opportunities can be filled from within our own ranks is a testament to the rich pool of high-quality talent we have across Vistry Group,” he added.
