Sutton-Coldfield-based development company Urban Village group will build 70 bedrooms and seven supported living apartments in Blackburn
Urban Village Group has been given planning permission to build a multi-million pound canalside care scheme in Lancashire.
The Sutton Coldfield-base developer will built 70 en-suite bedrooms and seven supported living apartments in Eleanor Street, Blackburn.
Urban Village Group chief executive Nick Sellman said: “We are grateful to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for their support and are excited at the prospect of starting construction of our latest development later this year.
“Our care home in Blackburn forms part of our mission to improve senior living provision in this country and will be a fantastic facility for families in the region.”

Each of the four floors of the purpose-built care home will have its own external terrace, with views overlooking the canal and conservation area to the town centre.
Once completed, the care home will be let to Bracebridge Care Group for a minimum of 25 years.
