The housing association has internally promoted its director of corporate operations
Troy Francis will become Southern Housing’s executive director of operations when Jane Porter retires in Spring 2025.
Francis is currently corporate director of operations at the 80,000-home housing association, responsible for frontline housing management, the contact centre and social impact activities.
In his new role he will be tasked with “transforming” Southern’s housing operations.
He has worked in the sector for more than 20 years, including for Brent Council and Hounslow Council.
Porter has spent around eight years in her current role. Both Francis and Porter held senior positions in Optivo before the organisation merged with Southern Housing Group in December 2022 to form Southern Housing.
