Former Catalyst boss to take the reins at 10,000-home association
Settle has hired former Catalyst boss as its interim chief executive.
The 10,000-home Hertfordshire-based association announced experienced sector figure Cahill will take over in October following the departure of Gavin Cansfield to Moat.
Cahill was chief executive at Catalyst Housing Association for 26 years and has more recently worked as interim chief executive at Sage Housing.
Settle through its 2030 corporate plan is aiming to be in the top 25% of social landlords for resident satisfaction.

Cahill said: “I’m pleased to be joining settle at such an exciting time. I know that the team are focused on embedding the 2030 plan. I’m looking forward to finding out how I can support them in delivering the plan’s purpose and priorities to ensure the best outcomes for residents.”
