The framework was initially launched in 2019 to accelerate the delivery of 50,000 new affordable homes
A procurement organisation for Scottish local authorities has opened its £1.5bn affordable homes framework for existing suppliers to renew their places and for new companies to join.
Nineteen suppliers, including 13 SMEs were placed on the £1.5bn framework, which was launched by Scotland Excel in 2019 with the aim of delivering 50,000 new affordable homes by 2021.
The framework is set to continue for an additional two years, with the option to extend for a further two years. Suppliers have until 13 May to submit their applications for the framework.
