Move comes as sister company Argent is absorbed into Related Argent
Related Argent has appointed former Cushman & Wakefield global chief executive and president John Forrester as a strategic advisor.
Forrester will join Related Argent’s board, working with Related Argent’s chief executive Tom Goodall and other executive directors.
It comes on the day Related and Argent, which have been operating in parallel since 2015, became a single company.
The pair announced last year that Argent LLP, the developer of the King’s Cross Estate, would transfer all its staff, assets and projects to Related Argent Limited.
Related Argent Tom Goodall chief executive of Related Argent said the appointment of Forrester cemented the firm’s “reputation as one of the leading property and urban regeneration businesses in the UK.”
“John is a true titan of the property industry and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.
“His broad skills and understanding of global real estate markets is unrivalled and will be of enormous benefit to our business as we grow our development pipeline and plan for continued growth.”
Chief operating officer and chairman of Related London Kenneth Wong added that Forrester had been a “friend and supporter” of Related Argent for many years.

“We have an exciting future ahead and his expertise and experience will be invaluable as we navigate the UK’s current real estate market,” he said.
Forrester added: “Being appointed as strategic advisor for one of the most exciting and innovative property businesses in the UK is a fantastic opportunity.
“Having worked closely with many of the best people and projects throughout my career, I am delighted to now be supporting a business I have always admired and which has the ability to drive positive change for our cities and the people who live and work in them.”
