The 226-home scheme is being developed by J Group, Leo Homes and V Fund
Stevenage Council has given permission to regenerate land that was previously retail space to deliver 226 built-to-rent homes.
J Group, Leo Homes and V Fund are developing ‘The Forum’, which will be built on land that has been vacant since 2019 and was previously occupied by the retailer Office Outlet.
The scheme has been designed by PRP and will be a single residential block of varying heights, split into two with a ground and first floor communal areas.
Bob Pecotic, director at Leo Homes, said: “All of us here at Leo, J Group and V Fund are delighted to be involved in such a progressive urban regeneration project in a great town that is undergoing an exciting transformation”.
Robert High, associate director at PRP, added: “The aim of the team has been to create a safe and active street environment, together with high-quality homes that add to the vibrancy of the New Town.”
PRP is currently involved in a £1bn, 20-year regeneration of Stevenage.
