Max Steinberg to take reigns from ex-police chief at North West housing association
Plus Dane Housing has appointed a new incoming chair.
Max Steinberg will take over the position from former Greater Manchester Police chief constable Peter Fahy next March.
Fahy has been chair of the housing association’s board since 2016 and will step down at the end of his nine-year tenure in line with the organisation’s governance policy and procedures.
Steinberg, a Merseyside-based businessman, has joined the board as chair designate as part of succession planning.
He began his career at Liverpool City Council in 1975 before working at the Housing Corporation for 25 years.
In 2003, he became chief executive of Elevate East Lancashire, a regeneration business.

“I look forward to working with the board and beginning my role as chair next year.”
Plus Dane owns and manages more than 18,000 homes across Merseyside and Cheshire.
