Schemes by Gleeson and Vistry to start next year
Plans by Gleeson and Vistry to build more than 200 homes in Nottinghamshire have been given the green light by local planners in the county.
The largest scheme will see 120 homes built by Gleeson at Bircotes in the Bassetlaw area of Nottinghamshire in a development called Vicars Mews.
Work on the former agricultural land site will begin in the new year and will see a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes built.
Meanwhile, Vistry’s Linden Homes arm has been given planning to build 56 homes in the village of Ruddington.
Work is expected to start next spring after work was OK’d by Rushcliffe borough council.
The scheme, which is around five miles south of Nottingham, will feature a range of one to five-bedroom homes. The firm said 17 have been designated affordable.
Meanwhile, Gleeson is due to issue a trading update on 11 January and will unveil its half year results on 11 February. Vistry will announce a trading update on 12 January and its 2020 results on 25 February.
