Housing association giant seeks approval for latest phase of 3,500-home regeneration scheme
Notting Hill Genesis has submitted an application for the next phase of its 3,500-home Aylesbury estate regeneration scheme in Southwark.
The housing association giant is seeking approval to build 614 homes as part of phase 2B of the mammoth project, which in total will see more than 2,000 homes demolished and 3,500 built.
Half of the homes in the latest phase will be for affordable tenures and range from one-person flats to five-bedroom family maisonettes. Around 400 sq m of non-residential space will also be created, including a park and play area.
Existing buildings will be demolished and five towers will be built ranging from five to 26 storeys in height.
