The housing association has chosen 146 consultants and contractors for its framework
Notting Hill Genesis has revealed a framework of 146 consultants and contractors to deliver more than £2.8bn worth of new homes in London.
Among the developers on the list are Vistry, Hill and Higgins Partnerships as well as Countryside and Durkan. The full list can be found here.
The £909.1m-turnover housing association has said the list was selected through a “rigorous process with emphasis on quality, as well as equality and diversity”.
It plans to deliver 7,000 new homes in Greater London over the next five years and the framework will run for four years until June 2026 with an option to extend this further by one or two years.
John Hughes, Notting Hill Genesis’ group director of development and deputy chief executive, said: “Our new framework is a key part of our commitment to better quality homes and improving the experience for our residents. The membership of the framework has a greater level of diversity than we have achieved before.
“We want the companies we work with to reflect the communities in which we work.”
The contractors’ framework comprises of one single lot while the consultants’ framework is split into 12 different competencies, namely: Architects (general); Landscape architects; Planning consultants; Transport and highways consultants; Civil and structural engineers; Mechanical and electrical consultants; Cost consultants; Employer’s agents; Project managers; Valuers; Purchase and repair consultants; and Clerks of works.
Some of the successful bidders feature on more than one lot. Notting Hill Genesis’ frameworks are open to other housing associations operating in and around London to procure through.
