67,500-home landlord creats new positions as part of three-year Better Together strategy
Notting Hill Genesis has hired executives to three new roles as part of its three-year ‘better together’ corporate strategy.
The 67,500-home G15 landlord has created three new positions; chief governance and risk officer, chief people officer and a role to lead organisational effectiveness.
Tabitha Kassem has been appointed chief governance and risk officer and will join Notting Hill Genesis in April from shared ownership provider Heylo, where she is currently general counsel and director of governance. She has also held executive director positions at Network Homes.
A qualified solicitor, her career spans corporate governance, including compliance and assurance, as well as legal and regulatory functions.
Craig Wilcockson will also join NHG in December as chief people officer. He was most recently chief people officer at technology company Marston Holdings and has also held similar positions at housebuilder Watkin Jones and housing association Orbit Group.
A third new role will see Vipul Thacker promoted from group director of central services into a position to lead organisational effectiveness. A spokesperson said this will “create extra capacity at leadership level to focus on specific improvement projects.”

NHG’s three-year Better Together strategy focuses on three priorities, better connections, better homes and better places.
It has pledged to reconnect more fully with residents, to make improvements to ‘the majority’ of it homes and to manage its estates in a “holistic, tenure blind way that meets the needs of the residents and local community”. It has three enabling themes focused on people, finances and value for money and technology and digital transformation.
