Regeneration firm promotes Phil Mayall
Muse has appointed Phil Mayall as its new managing director.
The developer, which is owned by £3.6bn-turnover contractor Morgan Sindall, has promoted Mayall from his previous role overseeing Muse’s northwest operations.
Mayall succeeds Kate Bowyer, who left the company in April after less than a year as managing director to become chief financial officer at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
John Morgan, group chief executive at Morgan Sindall, said: “Phil brings a wealth of experience of delivery, alongside a strategic vision and drive.”
Muse posted turnover of £244m last year and £18.9m of operating profit.
Mayall is also a director of the English Cities Fund (ECF), a national regeneration partnership between Muse, Homes England and Legal & General.
Sir Michael Lyons, chair of the ECF, told Housing Today in May the joint venture is now seeking to expand beyond its initial target of building 6,500 homes over 10 years.
