Marie-Claire Delbrouque will replace Ashley Hook in April
Marie-Claire Delbrouque has been appointed chief executive of MHS Homes after 22 years at Flagship Group.
She will be taking over from Ashley Hook, who is stepping down in April after more than 15 years as boss of the 9,500-home social landlord based in Kent.
Delbrouque is set to leave her current position at Flagship where she has served as managing director since 2018. The housing association merged with Bromford last month to form the 80,000-home housing provider Bromford Flagship.
Delbrouque said: “I’m thrilled to be joining mhs homes and particularly proud to be its first female CEO. Last week was International Women’s Day and it’s significant that the organisation already has such strong representation of women in senior management and leadership roles.
“As someone who grew up in social housing, I’m passionate about equality of opportunity and I’m looking forward to working with our customers, our colleagues and the board to provide safe, sustainable homes and communities where people can truly thrive.”
Alongside her role at Flagship, Delbrouque was chief executive at Hopestead, a registered charity dedicated to ending homelessness in the east of England. She is also a non-executive director at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
