South coast development takes number of L&G’s BTR projects to 11
Legal & General has announced its plans to build Brighton’s first build-to-rent scheme have been approved by the city’s council.
The development on a brownfield site near Brighton’s main railway station, will eventually deliver 221 homes, 10% of which will be affordable.
As part of the EPR Architects-designed scheme, which features buildings ranging between three and 18 storeys, L&G is making a £746,000 contribution towards revamping the public space along Elder Place.
L&G is now building 11 build-to-rent developments around the UK and will eventually complete 3,400 homes for rent.
