Former Crest Nicholson directors Tristin Willis (pictured left) and Tom Heathcote (pictured right) have joined their former Crest colleague and now Ilke managing director Ben Miller to spearhead the modular homes specialist’s expansion plans.

Miller (pictured centre) joined Ilke Homes in April from Crest Nicholson, where he led the housebuilder’s Midlands operation.

He said Ilke Homes was “poised to dramatically scale up its offer” and his former colleagues from Crest Nicholson would bring “a wealth of knowledge, contacts and skills” to the firm.

Heathcote is set to become Ilke Homes’ new group land and planning director, while Willis will be the housebuilder’s new group operation’s director.

Under the joint venture signed with Places for People last month, Ilke Homes is expected to deliver 750 factory-built homes, including 500 for sites Places fror People already owns plus 250 for new affordable and market-priced housing schemes that the pair will develop jointly.

The steel-framed homes will be manufactured at Ilke Homes’ factory in Yorkshire. No timescale has been given for when the first homes will be put up.
