New MD was residential developer’s development director when he left to join Circle in March
Hub, the London-based residential developer, has appointed Damien Sharkey as the firm’s managing director two months after he left the firm.
Sharkey (pictured) went to work for Circle, a residential consulting business, in March this year after nearly five years at Hub, but returned when offered the managing director role.
He replaces Steve Sanham, who left Hub after six years with the firm.
Robert Sloss, Hub’s chief executive, said Sharkey had “unrivalled understanding of Hub […] and knows our people, projects, partners and stakeholders extremely well.
“Damien gained further experience away from us and now he is returning I’m looking forward to working with him again immensely.”
Sharkey was Hub’s development director when he left to join Circle.
Hub’s recent projects include the Boiler House scheme in Hayes, west London, and the Hoola development in Newham, east London.
It is currently working on Chesterfield House in Wembley and Queen’s Quarter in Croydon.
