Kate Still leaves 56,000-home organization after joining on 5 September last year

Home Group’s chief commercial officer has had her position made redundant just five months after joining the organisation.

Kate Still, an experienced housing leader and executive coach, announced on a social media post that she has been made redundant despite only joining the 56,000-home housing association in September.

Writing on LinkedIn she said: “Well that was quick! Very sadly I am leaving Home Group after only five short months due to redundancy at the end of January.

“I leave some great colleagues and will be watching where their journey takes them with interest.

Housing Today understands Still’s departure is not part of a wider programme of redundancies at the £493m-turnover landlord.

Mark Henderson, chief executive of Home Group, said: “After five months of working with Home Group and helping us move forward in our understanding of our future strategy, Kate will be leaving the organisation on 31 January 2025 due to redundancy. I’d like to thank Kate for her time at Home Group and wish her much success in her future career endeavours.”

Home Group declined to comment further on the reasons for the redundancy.
