Current deputy CEO will succeed Matt Harrison on 1 July
Great Places Housing Group has appointed Alison Dean to the role of chief executive.
The 25,000-home association has announced current deputy chief executive Dean will take over the top job on 1 July, when current boss Matt Harrison stands down.
Dean, who is also executive director of people, culture and business improvement, has worked for the Manchester-based provider for more than 17 years in various roles.
In recent years Dean has been responsible for driving cultural change, improving services and building brand engagement at the group.

Great Places has an aim of building between 9,000 homes between 2020 and 2030. A spokesperson earlier this month said it has completed 2,134 homes and is on site with around 2,000 more, with higher completions expected in the latter years of the 10-year programme.
The association last month secured £284m in sustainability-linked debt funding from three banks, which it will use to build new homes and improve existing stock.
