Build to rent operator names former Quintain exec for role as business expands
Build to rent developer Get Living has appointed a former Quintain exec to be its chief financial officer as the business looks to expand by 50%.
Get Living said Logicor’s current director of group finance Dan Greenslade will be its new CFO.
The appointment comes as Get Living is embarking on plans to increase its housing portfolio from 10,000 to 15,000 within five years. Currently the business has a portfolio of around 4,000 homes which are completed and lived in, and a further 6,000 in planning or construction.
Prior to his most recent five years at logistics developer Logicor, Greenslade spent four years London-based developer Quintain, where he established the firm’s build to rent arm Quintain Living.
Greenslade (pictured) said: “As a well-capitalised business with a strong pipeline of developments in place Get Living is already regarded as a leader in Build to Rent. With a strong sense of purpose, and an ethos and culture that resonates with my values, I am thrilled to be joining the team.”
Rick de Blaby, CEO of Get Living, said Greenslade will bring “a deep track record” of building a robust finance function which would support the company during its growth phase. “We expect to benefit from his counsel and industry expertise as we grow the business,” he said.
