Susan Fulton has taken on the newly-created role at the Sunderland-based housing association
Gentoo has appointed a former Home Group executive to its newly-created role of executive director of people, culture and engagement.
The 30,000-home Sunderland-based housing association has appointed Susan Fulton to the role. Fulton, who has over 15 years of experience in the sector, will help shape human resources, customer service, marketing, brand, and communications strategies at Gentoo.
She was previously director of people and corporate services at fellow north-east headquartered provider for over 15 years.

Fulton also previously worked in HR and learning and development for Barclaycard, T-Mobile and BT.
Fulton said: “It’s great to be joining Gentoo at a really exciting time in their journey of culture change”.
Louise Bassett, chief executive officer, said: “Susan brings significant leadership experience from both the housing and commercial sectors and will help us shape the future for our customers and colleagues as we continue to improve our services to customers and make Gentoo a great place to work for our amazing colleagues.”
In May this year, Gentoo hired former HR director Louise Bassett as its permanent chief executive.
