Alastair Gordon-Stewart to aid growth strategy at regional housebuilder
The former finance director of Kier Living has been appointed chief financial officer at £75m-turnover housebuilder Larkfleet Group to help devise and oversee a growth strategy for the business.
Alastair Gordon-Stewart (pictured, right), has taken the role at the group amid a raft of other promotions as the Lincolnshire-based firm, which owns Larkfleet Homes and Allison Homes, seeks to grow.
Gordon-Stewart said he was “delighted” to be appointed to the role “to help steer the company through its next phase of expansion.”
In results released at Companies House last month Larkfleet said it had a land bank worth £1.7bn in terms of gross development value and expected to exceed 2019 completions of 342 homes in 2020.
The firm also said that former Persimmon construction manager Leigh Wagg had been promoted to construction director at Larkfleet Homes Norfolk & Suffolk, while Lee Pittam had been made director of technical and Paul Pearson had been promoted to director of commercial at Larkfleet Homes.
Karl Hick, chief executive officer of Larkfleet Group, said: “The appointment of a new CFO as well as several senior level promotions consolidates our already strong team and puts us in a position of strength for when the housing market reopens.”
