£7.5m scheme near Daventry will result in 59 new homes

Daventry

Futures Housing Group has appointed Engie to design and build 59 homes in Middlemore, near Daventry.

As well as the homes the scheme, worth £7.5m, will include enabling works and infrastructure, roads, drainage and underground services, according to an OJEU noticed dated 19 April 2019.

No details have been given regarding a start date for the development or the scheme’s tenure split.

Ripley-based Futures Housing managed and owns nearly 9,500 homes across the UK and last year completed 220 new homes.

Last year it started 185 new homes – nearly half of which are destined for social rent – as part of its plan to build around 1,000 units between 2015 and 2020.

Futures Housing Group was formed in 2007 as the parent company of two social housing providers, Amber Valley Housing and Daventry & District Council.

Engie recently won two contracts worth a total of £80m to provide refurbishment work across Anchor Hanover’s care and sheltered housing estate.
