EastendHomes has announced Jacqui Bateson as its new chair.

The provider, which manages 3,800 homes in Tower Hamlets, is expected to rubber stamp the appointment of Bateson on 23 September.

Bateson, who is an existing board member at the association, previously worked as managing director of charity Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust (HACT). She has also held board positions at Broadacres Housing Association and Yorkshire Housing.

She has a background in financial services having worked at Skipton Building Society for more than 23 years .

Bateson will take over from current chair Kevin Moore, who has reached the end of the maximum board term.
