David Clark named as McAvoy's new manufacturing director

Modular homes specialist McAvoy has promoted head of manufacturing and innovation David Clark to the newly-created role of manufacturing director.

Clark (pictured) joined the Dungannon, County Tyrone firm in 2012.

As manufacturing director Clark will oversee the growth in McAvoy’s output and beef up productivity improvements in the firm’s two factories.

McAvoy recently completed 40 homes for Northern Ireland’s first offsite affordable housing scheme.

Eugene Lynch, McAvoy’s managing director, said Clark – who holds an MSc in BIM and project management from Queen’s University Belfast – had already played a key role in applying digital technology across the business.

“David’s leadership, knowledge and commitment will continue to be invaluable as we implement our growth strategy across the UK and Ireland,” Lynch added.
