Guinness and Countryside have paired up to build 700 mixed-tenure homes in south west London.

The £400m scheme will be the second phase of Signal Park, a major development in Tolworth in the borough of Kingston upon Thames.

The two housebuilders have formed a 50:50 joint venture, with Arcadis appointed as the partnership’s supervisor.

How the scheme will look when built

Work is expected to start in early 2025 once full planning permission has been secured.

The scheme will includes a cycle hub along with gardens and green public spaces to create an attractive environment for residents, as well as improving biodiversity and sustainability, the pair said.

The chief executive of Vistry-owned Countryside Partnerships Stephen Teagle said: “This is an exciting opportunity to reinvigorate Tolworth by creating a welcoming, mixed-tenure neighbourhood with an abundance of green spaces and amenities for residents to enjoy for many years to come.”

The first phase of the Signal Park scheme is currently under construction and will comprise 211 shared ownership homes.
