Docklands development will feature more than 300 flats

Canary Wharf Group’s new build-to-rent arm Vertus is launching its first development on the privately-owned Canary Wharf estate in east London.

Called 10 George Street, the development features 327 flats ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. It is one of three build-to-rent schemes launching in the area next year.

Grid Architects designed the 37-storey building, which includes a gym, bar and large south-facing terrace and is located within Canary Wharf’s new district, Wood Wharf.

Wood Wharf has plans for up to 3,600 new homes, office space, 350,000ft² of retail space, a surgery, primary school and eight acres of public space.
