Tie-up between Hill and Goram Homes will deliver £55m scheme
Goram Homes, the development firm created by Bristol city council, has unveiled plans for 165 homes in the centre of the city in a joint venture with housebuilder Hill.
The £55m JTP-designed scheme is being built on a former caravan site on the “floating harbour” area by the River Avon and will feature one- to three-bedroom homes.
The scheme is Hill’s first in Bristol and the South-west.
Of the 165 homes, 66 (40%) will be affordable, with 75% of these being offered for affordable rent.
The other 99 homes will be for private sale. The development will also feature 3,000ft² of commercial space.
Construction is set to start later this year, with completion expected in autumn 2022.
