Ian Fletcher will stand down in March to spend more time with his family
The head of policy at the British Property Federation has announced his retirement after 22 years in the role.
Ian Fletcher in a LinkedIn post, announced he will stand down from the role on 31 March next year.
He said: “I have been so lucky to have worked in a job that I have loved and enjoyed for 22 years. I get the opportunity to influence some of the most important national issues - providing more, and better, homes for people.”
He added: “My family has too often come second to work. I want to spend more time with them.

I also want to devote more time to my other interests and find a few new ones hopefully!”
Fletcher joined BPF in 2002. Previous to that he was chief economist and head of policy at the British Chambers of Commerce.
