Adrian Eggington will succeed Amanda Tomlinson following her retirement at the end of April 2025
Black Country Housing Group (BCHG) has appointed Adrian Eggington as its new chief executive.
Eggington will step up from his current role as deputy chief executive at the 2,200-home housing association to take over from Amanda Tomlinson, who will retire in at the end of April 2025 after 30 years in the sector.
BCHG’s new boss joined the landlord in November 2015 having previously worked in executive positions at South Staffordshire Housing Association and housing providers Housing Plus and Central and Cecil.
He started his career in the sector as a housing trainee in Nuneaton and Bedworth Counil in 1990 and has since specialised in various areas, including development, housing, asset management, registered care and resident engagement.
Eggington was selected by the BCHG board following an external recruitment exercise. He said: “I could not be happier to continue my career at BCHG. It is an amazing, community and tenant focused organisation and one I am extremely proud to be part of”.
BCHG operates in the Black Country and Birmingham.
