Caroline Wallace joins the housing association from Bernicia Homes
Beyond Housing has appointed a new chief financial officer.
The 15,000-home association, which operates in Tees Valley and North Yorkshire, has confirmed the appointment of Caroline Wallace in the position.
Kevin Hanlon, the previous finance chief, left the organisation last April.
Wallace joins from Bernicia Homes, another provider based in the North East, where she had worked as director of finance since 2021.
Prior to that, she worked as head of finance at Hays Travel for six months and deputy finance director at another housing organisation, Gentoo Group in Sunderland.
Wallace said: “I am really excited to be joining Beyond Housing as the organisation works towards finalising its new corporate strategy. I look forward to working with the leadership team and Board to improve the overall customer experience and the homes we provide.”
Rosemary Du Rose, chief executive at Beyond Housing, added “We are pleased to welcome Caroline and look forward to her strengthening our financial strategy and supporting Beyond Housing’s long-term goals.”

It comes after the appointment of a new chair at the housing association last November.
Anne Parker, previously chair of arm’s length management organisation Your Homes Newcastle for several years before it was closed by Newcastle City Council last year, took over following the retirement of James Hayward in September.
