Former Redrow Lancashire boss will now lead David Wilson Homes North-west
Barratt has hired a new managing director for its north west arm.
Claire Jarvis will take over as managing director for Barratt division David Wilson Homes North-west, succeeding Robert Holbrook. The North-west division built 600 homes last year.
In its end-of-year trading update in June, Barratt Homes said it had completed a total of 17,206 homes for the year.
Jarvis will join the North-west arm of Barratt developments from Redrow Lancashire, where she was managing director for over three years. Prior to that, she served as sales and marketing director since 2012.

Jarvis previously worked at Persimmon Homes, initially as a sales and marketing manager, and later as a director.
She has also worked at the estate agency Hamptons International, holding the role of associate director. In this role, Jarvis set up and ran the North-west of England office. Prior to this, Jarvis served as head of sales at Knight Frank.
Holbrook, Jarvis’ predecessor, left David Wilson Homes North-west in May this year. He took on the position of managing director at Jones Homes, a Chesire-based housebuilder.
Jarvis is also chair of the Home Builders Federation’s North West Managing Director’s group.
