Architect is working on third phase of east London regeneration project
Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBS) has been given planning approval for a housing scheme it has designed as part of the Royal Albert Wharf regeneration scheme on the Thames in east London.
The Gallion Quarter 2b scheme, located in the Royal Docks, envisages 267 homes, 51% of which will be deemed affordable, with 40% comprising family units.
The homes, which will also feature a residents’ gym, are being developed by housing association Notting Hill Genesis (NHG), Telford Homes and the Greater London Authority.
In total around 1,800 new homes will be delivered across the Royal Albert Wharf project. The overall masterplan was drawn up by Maccreanor Lavington.
FCBS is currently working on a scheme for Gallions Quarter 3b, along with the second phase of the Great Eastern Quays development. The second phase of the Gallions Quarter scheme, which will see 241 new homes across three apartment blocks, was given planning permission in October 2018.
That phase is being developed as a joint venture between NHG and Vistry Partnerships, formerly known as Galliford Try Partnerships.
