Annual UK house prices rise in April for second month

Buyer demand stabilised in April, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

UK home prices rose in April for a second consecutive month, up from an increase of 0.9% in March to 1.1% last month, according to the Office for National Statistics.  

The average British house price was £281,000 in April, which is £3,000 above what it was one year ago.
