Recruitment comes as housing association tries to turn regulatory non-compliant status around
A2 Dominion has hired a new interim director of financial services.
Graham Gregg who has more than 20 years of experience in the housing sector, has joined the 38,000-home landlord from Southern Network Group, where he served as drector of accounting services.
Gregg will take over from Deirdre Harlowe, who has left A2 Dominion after 11 years to join SNG as group financial controller in October.
His role will include taking responsibility for statutory financial reporting as well as operational finance.
The appointment comes after A2Dominion was deemed non-compliant with the Regulator of Social Housing’s governance and financial viability standard following an investigation in January of this year.
The regulator downgraded the 39,000-home housing association from a ‘G1’ to a ‘G3’ rating after finding that it had failed to manage key risks.

Since then, the organisation has made several new appointments as it bids to regain compliant status, including appointing former RBH director Hilary Milne as new interim governance and compliance director.
Paul Fiddaman, chief executive of Karbon Homes, and Emma Palmer, CEO of Eastlight Community Homes, were also drafted to its board.
The housing provider is a member of the G15 – a group of housing associations collaborating to house one in ten Londoners.
