The housing secretary tells select committee chair that there is no additional funding for social landlords to manage RAAC risks
Michael Gove has confirmed there is no additional funding available to social landlords for the remediation of homes made of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC).
The housing secretary, in response to a letter from Clive Betts MP, said that housing associations and councils are to pay for maintenance and repairs related to RAAC through their rental income.
