2024 was a pivotal year for housing, marked by political change, bold ambitions, and enduring challenges. It began under a Conservative government, with the housing sector navigating a stream of consultations on critical issues, including Awaab’s Law, the Future Homes Standard, social housing allocations, and competence and conduct.
