Ed Farnsworth will succeed long-serving Waqar Ahmed in January

L&Q has appointed Ed Farnsworth as its new executive group director for finance.

The 109,000-home provider has announced that Farnsworth, currently deputy group finance director, will step up to the executive role from 1 January.

He succeeds Waqar Ahmed, who is standing down in the new year.
