Newcastle-based provider says development of new social housing “remains difficult”

Karbon Homes has said it is looking to set up a for-profit registered provider arm in a bid to attract external funding for development.

The Newcastle-based housing association in its half-year trading update, said it will be starting the process for registering a for-profit with the Regulator of Social Housing “very soon”.
