After months of debate and amendments, the Building Safety Bill has gained Royal Assent.
The mammoth 262-page act is intended to “create lasting generational change” to the way residential buildings are constructed and maintained in the UK following the 2017 Grenfell Tower disaster, while protecting the rights of leaseholders.
