In the latest in our Frontline Stories series, the 21-year-old speaks to Alex Funk about being a young female in a male-dominated industry, finding out she has dyslexia and ADHD, and getting her driver’s license

Leyland-based Alicia Buckley will soon be entering her fourth and final year of her apprenticeship with Progress Housing Group, which she stumbled into “by an off chance.”

“There’s no day that’s the same. Everything’s different,” she says of her work, “Meeting different tenants, different jobs, different problems.”
