The zero energy bills homes will be fitted with heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage
Modular housebuilder Ilke Homes announced a partnership with utilities firm Octopus Energy to deliver homes with zero energy bills.
In what the companies say is a first for the UK, they will create homes fitted with low-carbon technologies, including air source heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage. The properties are expected to save a household more than £2,000 a year on energy costs.
